Be the first to cross home plate!
The Home Run 5K begins in the Schaumburg Baseball Stadium parking lot and ends in Schaumburg Baseball Stadium, 1999 S. Springinsguth Road. A pre-race briefing will be held at 8:25AM. Run starts at 8:30AM. This is a chip-timed event. Course is USATF certified. Race is for ages 10 and up. Multiple age divisions are available. A $50 cash prize will be awarded to the top male and female in the 5K run. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age category for men and women.
This year's event features a 1/2 mile run for children ages 3 to 9. Run starts at 8AM. Medals will be given to all participants. Parents are encouraged to run with children.

Registration
No refunds will be granted and entries are non-transferable with any other Park District event. Schaumburg Park District reserves the right to cancel or combine events for low enrollment and/or inclement weather.
All participants are required to complete an official race registration form. Forms are available at Park District facilities, online or call 847/490-7015 to receive one by mail. Race forms must be turned in at the Community Recreation Center. Online registration is available at active.com.
5K: Pre-registration fee is $30. Pre-registration is required by 5PM on May 29. Check-in and race day registration is from 7 to 8AM. Race day registration fee is $35. The first 200 runners will receive a Home Run 5K T-Shirt. The Schaumburg Park District cannot guarantee shirt sizes. Packet pick-up is available at Dick Pond Athletics from 10:30AM to close on June 2.
1/2 Mile: Fee for the 1/2 mile run for children is $10. Packet pick-up is available at Dick Pond Athletics from 10:30AM to close on June 2.
