The Water Works Splash Away Party
Splash your birthday away at the Schaumburg Park District's premier indoor water park! Postcard invitations are included.
- Splash Away Package: Three hours, $160 for residents/$180 for non-residents for a minimum of 10 participants ($12/additional person).
- Includes : Party room one hour, pool two hours, one staff member, pizza or hot dogs and chips, drinks, cake, ice cream, paperware and postcard invitations.
- Splash Away Plus Package: Three hours, $210 for residents/$230 for non-residents for a minimum of 10 participants ($13/additional person).
- Includes : Splash Away Plus package plus party theme decorations and paperware, goodie bags and costume character (choose from our characters).
Indoor Playground Party
The Creative Activity Room is perfect for toddlers. The room includes a indoor play area complete with a ball pit and slides. For children up to 5 years old.
- Playground Package: Two hours, $140 for residents/$160 for non-residents for a minimum of 10 participants ($10/additional person).
- Includes : Playroom for two hours, one staff member, pizza or hot dogs and chips, drinks, cake, ice cream and paperware.
- Playground Plus Package: Two hours, $190 for residents or $210 for non-residents for a minimum of 10 participants ($11/additional person).
- Includes: Playground Package plus party theme decorations and paperware, goodie bags and costume character (penguin, turtle, dolphin, dog, seal or bear).
The Water Works Splash Away and Play Party
Spend an hour at The Water Works and an hour in our Creative Activity Room for an unforgettable party experience. For ages 2-5 years old.
- Splash Away and Play Package: Three hours, $195 for residents or $215 for non-residents for a minimum of 10 participants ($12/additional person). Postcard invitations are included.
- Includes : Playroom for two hours, pool one hour, one staff member, pizza or hot dogs and chips, drinks, cake, ice cream and paperware.
- Splash Away and Play Plus Package: Three hours, $245 for residents or $265 for non-residents for a minimum of 10 participants ($13/additional person).

Cheerleading Party
We've got spirit, yes we do! We've got spirit, how 'bout you? Bring your friends and your spirit fingers for two hours of cheering, eating and fun! Each guest will enjoy learning jumps and motions, a short cheer with pom-pons and creating a special birthday cheer. The kids will show off their new skills at a pep rally for parents held the last ten minutes of the party. The birthday child will receive a group photo in cheer formation. Bring it on!
- Includes: Food, drinks, cake, ice cream, paperware, a head cheerleader (staff member) and pom-pons for each guest.
- Fee: $140 for residents/$160 for non-residents for a minimum of 10 participants ($9 per additional person).
Slumber Party
Kids love sleepovers. Have Schaumburg Park District host your next slumber party and leave the planning to party staff. Slumber parties are available Friday nights only from 8PM to 8AM.
- Basic: $250 for residents or $270 for non-residents for a minimum of 10 participants ($24 additional person).
- Includes: Pizza, continental breakfast, snacks, soft drinks, cake, ice cream, games, one staff.
- Optional: Basic package plus one hour of swimming in the leisure pool at The Water Works. $3.50 per additional person.
Lock-in Party
Let Schaumburg Park District host and plan your lock-in. Available Friday nights only from 8PM to 8AM.
- Basic: $1,100 for residents/$1,260 for non-residents for a minimum of 100 people ($13 per additional person).
- Includes: Swimming from 8:30-11PM in the leisure pool at The Water Works, use of the gymnasium from 11PM to 1AM and one staff member.
Muggles to Wizards
From Quidditch pitch to the great hall, this wizard party has it all. Enjoy two hours of spells, potions, food and games.
- Basic: $160 for residents/$180 for non-residents for a minimum of 10 people ($9 per additional person).
- Includes: Food, drinks, cake, ice cream, paperware and one staff member.
Backyardy Party
Celebrate the old-fashioned way with back-to-basics games, food and fun! Held outside under the Community Recreation Center tent, this 2.5 hour party offers games such as musical chairs, limo, tag and hot potato.
- Fee: $160 for residents/$180 for non-residents for a minimum of 10 participants ($9 per additional person).
- Includes: Hot dog and chips, juice boxes, popcorn, cake, ice cream, paperware and two party hosts.
Pajama Party
Wear your pajamas and prepare to play, dance and giggle your way through 2.5 hours of fun. Crafts, games, food, drinks, cake and ice cream will make this party feel like a sleepover – without the all-night stay. Activities will be tailored to the age and gender of guests
- Fee: $160 for residents/$180 for non-residents for a minimum of 10 participants ($10 per additional person).
- Includes: Pizza or hot dogs and chips, drinks ,cake, ice cream and paperware and two party hosts.
- Cake Decorating Option #1: For an additional $3.50 per person, each child will get to decorate a cupcake box and a cupcake to take home. Birthday cake can be changed to a cupcake cake at no additional charge with this craft option.
You Want It, We've Got It Party
The Community Recreation Center is offering parties designed to fit your needs. From rock star to Barbie, arts and crafts to boot camp, wild west to out-of-this-world, if you have a theme you want, party staff can create it. Pricing will vary based on theme and length of party. All parties will include food, drinks, cake, ice cream, paperware and a party host. Call 847/490-2509 for information.
