For Moms

Classes focus on the development and improvement of parenting skills.

• Mindful Moms

Fitness

Children enjoy these energy-filled movement classes. The focus of these classes are to get children moving and expending energy. They do not focus on skills for specific sports. Children should wear gym shoes.

12-30 months

2-4 years

Cooking

Children participate in the cooking process in these fun and messy classes! No nuts or nut products are used in recipes. Please let instructor know the first day of class of any food allergies. All cooking classes meet in the visual arts studio at the Community Recreation Center.

30 months-4 yrs

Classes without Parents

These classes encourage independence. Some classes include parent participation for part of the class time. These are great classes to take before beginning preschool. Early childhood instructors will help ease both parents and children with separation anxiety.

Socialization

These classes allow children and adults time to interact with other children and adults. A variety of activities may be included, such as art, singing, dancing, free play and story time.

Specialization

Class experiences are specifically related to music, art, science or pre-educational skills. The majority of class time is spent focusing on the development of skills related to the specific area.
