Individuals or groups may audition to be a part of Schaumburg’s Got Talent. Those interested must register for auditions.
You can choose to be a non-competitive or competitive act. All competing acts will be judged. Contestants from each age category with the highest judges’ scores go on to compete via web voting on parkfun.com.
- Age: Youth: 4-7 years, Tween: 8-12 years, Teen: 13-18 years, Young Adult: 19-25 years, Adult: 26+, Multi-generational
- Talent: Singer, Musician, Dancer, Magician, Juggler, Acrobat, Comedian, Actor
Contestants will have a mandatory rehearsal on August 9 from 4 to 8PM.
Competitive act fee per person is $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents. Non-competitive act fee per person is $5 for residents and $10 for non-residents.
Tickets go on sale at the Community Recreation Center north registration counter August 1. Ticket price is $6 for both youth and adults.
Note: Rehearsal and performance dates have been changed from the Summer Program Guide. Rehearsal date is now Aug. 9. Performance date is now Aug. 10.
